The house:
The house at Igelshult has two sleeping rooms, one with two single beds and the other one with a bulkbed (80/120 cm wide). In the living room there is an additional sofa bed, so the house suits well for 4-5 persons. I the bathing room there is a shower cabin and WC. The kitchen is fully equipped with water kettle, big freeze/fridge, oven, microwave, coffeemachine, electric handmixer, toaster, etc. There is also a traditional wood oven in the kitchen you can use for heating and cooking. Also in the living room there is a wood oven.

In the garden there are garden furniture, a BBQ and you are welcome to play on the grassyard.

A boat (canadian canoe) is at your disposable at the bathing place.

Smoking is not allowed in the house or at the garden.

Place and surroundings:
The house is situated in a quiet and nice village. The village’s name is Igelhult and there live about 15 persons, it is situated beetween Vena (26 km, 700 inhabitants) and Kristdala (10 km, 900 inhabitants). The sand road leading to Igelhult ends in the village, then there are just forests, lakes and hiking trails.


The owner of the house is living about 50m away on a farm, there you can clap sheeps, there are dog and cat and canins. The real nice hiking trail “Lönnebergaleden“winds right through the village. If you follow the trail about 500m to the south, you’ll get to an beautiful bathingplace with BBQ (open fire), shelter and a boat for your disposal. This hiking trail continues via the “Ostkustleden” to the Baltic Sea, about 30 km away.

Some distances: 5 km to Krokshult, there is another beautiful hiking trail, 10km to closest shop and restaurang in Kristdala, 30 km to Hultsfred (regional center with train station, shops, touristinfo, restaurants, pharmacy, swimming hall, etc), 45 km to Astrid Lindgrens World, 339 km to Stockholm (4 hours by train, change in Linköping).


Price and booking:
Price is 700:- per night (800:- during 17/6 – 21/8). Water and electricity, boat and lifevests are included. There are environmental friendly dishing- and washing agents, shampoo, etc, in the cottage – please take own ones only with you if they are environmental friendly as well. Smoking in the house is not allowed.

If you should cancel a booking, will you get back already transfered money, yet with a withdrawal of 500 SEK bookingfee.
