You can stay in Basebo in the heart of Småland, for Bed & Breakfast or for a longer stay if you want. Enjoy quiet life on the countryside of Sweden! Garden’s own eggs will enrich your breakfast...
You live in a nice guesthouse of your own with comfortable living room, sleeping room (double bed), spacy loft of 19 squaremeter (max 6 sleeping madrasses), bathroom with shower and wc and a sauna (see blueprint). You have a cookstove, refrigerator, dishing machine, lots of dishes etc. for cooking and preparing your own meals. We provide you with towels, quilts and bed sheets, you clean up the house when you leave. You can also use a washing machine and a freeze. There are garden furnitures, grill and a trampolin. You can access www via our W-LAN-network (8 MB/s). There is radio and CD-player in the cottage, but no TV. But a guitarr, if you want to play...
Smoking in the house is not allowed. Same for pets, thank you. We are open all year round!

Breakfast you enjoy at the owners house, a farmer's house from 1840 with stove and very low ceiling. We love nature and animals, so our (mixed continental and swedish) breakfast is vegetarian and with lots of ecological and locally produced stuff.

You can rent bicycles for day-trips or longer excursions at no cost. There may be the opportunity to use a canoe (canadier for max 5 persons), skis, skatingshoes, etc.

Some distances: 300m to the beach at lake Nerbjärken (220 ha), 2 km to the next hiking trail (Lönnebergaleden), 6 km to nearest shop and restaurant (Vena), 9 km to railwaystation, shops, restaurants, medical care, horseriding school, turistinformation, etc. (Hultsfred), 26 km to Vimmerby, 33 km till downhill skiing (Virserum), 50 km to the Baltic Sea, 316 km to Stockholm (4 hours by train, change once only).
