Luxurious living in beautifully situated cottage:
The holiday residence "Norrland" is a beautifully situated house at the lake Nerbjärken. Distance to Hultsfred is 13 km and to Vimmerby / Astrid Lindgrens World is 29 km. The house is built with ecology in mind, for instance isolation with linnen (which gives you a very cosy climate as well), massive wooden floors, ecological cleaning, etc. The house is almost on the top of a hill and you have beautiful views to the lake at two directions, from the living room and from the verandas. The house is neighbour to the residence "Småland" - you can also rent both houses, perfect for big families or minor communities.
The price is 5 300:- SEK per week or 800:- SEK per day if booking period is shorter than a week. Electricity, water, wood for the stove and using of the boat is included. You clean up yourself before you leave or you can book before arrival cleaning to additional 700:- SEK. If you should cancel a booking, you'll get back already paid money reduced by a booking fee of 500 SEK. You need to have your own towels and bedsheets with you. The house is non-smoking and pets are not allowed, thank you.
"Norrland" is newly built in 2010, very tasteful and luxurious. There is both dishwasher and washing machine, fully equipped kitchen etc (but no microoven and neither TV!). The house has a big living room with stove and integrated kitchen, 2 sleeping rooms with 4+2 beds and a bathroom with shower and WC, a small entrance hall and a vestibul terrace from which you have a beautiful view over the lake. Another beautiful view you have from the two verandas (one completely under roof!) and the living room. You can click here for a blueprint. The house is warmed up by electricity (only water- and windcraft) and the stove in the living room. It's a perfect place to be also during wintertime, very warm and cosy. There are garden furnitures, boat and BBQ at your disposal. The beach is very sheltered in a lagoon and goes slowly deeper, yet there is a spot nearby where you can jump in as well. At this spot there are two canadian canoes at your disposal for paddling tours (the lake is about 220 ha). You share the beach area with the guests of the cottage "Småland". You are not allowed to fish in the lake (but there are about 30 other fishing lakes in the municipality, you buy fishing licenses at the touristoffice). The surroundings are very beautiful and interesting, e g a well known hiking trail (Lönnebergaleden) passes just 1 mile away.
